Biomedical International R+D is was founded in 2008 in Vienna, as a spin-off from the Medical University Vienna.

Herbert Houf, MBA, is president of the chamber of tax advisors and auditors in Austria, and teaches at the academy of chartered accountants.
Prof. Erika Jensen-Jarolim, MD, is Clinical Immunologist specialized in Allergology. She is past-president of the Austrian Society of Allergy and Immunology.
